Project Overview

Our project is called "Learning the Popularity Prediction in Information Cascades". The purpose of our project is to provide users with citation predictions for a given reseach paper and to provide geo-spacial visualizations of the associated institutuions on an interactive map. We used the HINTS ML model to generate the predictions and the APS dataset for training and performing prediction queries. We also used the data from the APS dataset and MapBox to place the paper's affiliated locations onto a map, so users can visualize the global impact of a given paper.
